Rachel Craig
Rachel is an entrepreneur and co-founder of Ruche Marketing. She’s a strategic content marketing specialist and legal marketing expert based in Manchester, UK.
Experience
I’m a skilled, creative marketer and content strategist with many years’ experience in marketing. I’m best known for my niche specialism in legal marketing, having worked in the legal sector for over 30 years.
Prior to co-founding Ruche Marketing, I managed marketing for multiple legal practice areas nationally, and worked for law firms such as Linder Myers, Berg & Co, Rowlands Solicitors, Pannone Solicitors, and Slater and Gordon.
In the early years, before my move into marketing, I was a fee earner, and worked within the serious injury and industrial disease practice area. The work I did during this period provided me with a unique insight as a marketer, particularly when it comes to understanding clients’ needs from a law firm, and the challenges that fee earners face.
As an entrepreneur and co-founder of Ruche Marketing, I’m able to put my extensive marketing and legal marketing experience to good use, working with my clients to help build their strategies and put them in a position of strength. Not only do I build strategies for our clients, but I also create the output, such as creating optimised written content, designing engaging brochures and literature, and effectively managing social media and email marketing campaigns.
An area I’m passionate about is website design and management. If clients aren’t happy with their current website, whether it’s the design, SEO value, or performance, I love getting to the crux of their goals, finding solutions, and delivering a website they can be proud of.
I also enjoy designing websites for new businesses and helping them realise their goals. One recent website I created was for new business ComplyEd Limited, and I received some fantastic feedback:

Career highlights
During my extensive career, I’ve had many highlights. However, during the last year, I would say my top 3 highlights have been:
1. Getting excellent results
For one of my clients, I updated their tired and underperforming website. Not only did they tell me that they got many positive comments on the new look and navigation, but it also resulted in a 405% increase in keywords, a 214% increase in website users, and a 176% increase in organic traffic.
Another of my clients asked me to carry out a large-scale awareness campaign. The campaign was hugely successful and resulted in a year-on-year uplift of 2,518% in new users, 1,073% in page views, and 80.51% in engagement rate.
2. Sharing knowledge
I love sharing my knowledge with other businesses so they can excel and achieve success. That’s why I was thrilled when Ruche won the tender to partner with the BIPC Greater Manchester’s Build a Business programme. I love hosting the marketing workshops and teaching entrepreneurs and startup businesses the essentials of marketing. It’s really satisfying to hear how much they’ve enjoyed it and how much they’ve learned for their business. We’ve received great feedback including:

3. Winning awards
Last year we won the 2023 Elite Business Awards for the Best Content Marketing Agency in Manchester. This year, we did it again and have won the 2024 Elite Business Awards for the Best Content Marketing Agency in the North West!
I’m incredibly proud of this achievement, especially as our business is still in its infancy. It demonstrates all the hard work we’ve done and continue to do for our clients.
